LIBRARIAN’S CORNER

 

 
Currently Library services are limited but over the next few months we have plans to return to pre-pandemic activities. This is our Library’s tentative restart plan. Do note, it could change at any time depending on guidance by the Province of BC and health statistics in the Northwest region.

 
 
Step 1: Current

Masks are mandatory indoors, physical distancing is required and if you are sick stay at home
Public seating reopens (up to a bubble of three in designated areas)
Computers are available without appointment
Computer and device help will continue to be offered
Outreach programs will continue
There will be no room rentals

Step 2: From July 1 (tentative)

Step 1 applies plus
Masks are recommended and not mandatory indoors, physical distancing is required and if you are sick stay at home
Staff will wear masks

Step 3: From September 7 / October (tentative)

The wearing of masks is a personal choice and if you are sick stay at home
Seating is increased to pre-pandemic levels
Programming will resume
Room rentals will be available when the room is not being used for in-house programming and events
